Spring is here, but unfortunately so is COVID-19. We are keeping busy at the farm despite social distancing everywhere else (it’s safe to hug your horse and chickens, so that’s good!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We haven’t hatched anything yet this year (I know… so late!), but a lot of other projects around the farm including a new poultry barn in the works have been taking the focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are no longer breeding or offering Silver Fox rabbits, but we will hopefully have some Dominique and Buff Silkie chick available later in the year. Narragansett turkeys may make a comeback at some point here on the farm as well, so stay tuned for a possible reappearance for next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We checked our beehives and both have made it healthy and strong through the winter, so we are very happy about that! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
