We\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brushymountainbeefarm.com\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"images\/beehive.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"123\" height=\"110\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\">purchased the 10 Frame Beginner Beekeeping Kit from\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\"><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brushymountainbeefarm.com\/\">Brush<\/a><\/strong><strong style=\"line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\"><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brushymountainbeefarm.com\/\">y Mt. Bee Farm<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\">\u00a0and an Italian Bee Package and more supplies from\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\"><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/nhhoneybee.com\">New Hampshire Honey Bee<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"line-height: 24px; text-align: left;\">Here&#8217;s a video of us hiving our first bee package in 2011:<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<iframe src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I5qdOQ6OTAg\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"images\/apple-blossom.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"68\" height=\"72\" align=\"left\" \/>While doing some research on the history of our farm, we learned that there were orchards of apples such as\u00a0<em>Blue Pearmain<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Golden Russet<\/em>, and\u00a0 it also had a cider mill. We have been aggressively pruning most of the large &amp; overgrown apple trees on the property, most of which are still producing apples every year. We purchased some new apple &amp; pear trees\u00a0<strong><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fedcoseeds.com\/\">Fedco<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in Maine in April of 2011. The apple trees we chose include\u00a0<em>Golden Russet, Gray Pearmain, Honeycrisp<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>McIntosh. <\/em>We also purchased a\u00a0<em>Bartlett pear<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Comptesse Clara Frijs pear<\/em>\u00a0tree.
